Rotastat’s team can offer a wide range of services in addition to the core production work.

Our facility in Cheltenham is equipped with a wide variety of technical equipment enabling us to be flexible for orders large and small.

ROTASTAT’S SERVICES

impregnation

Impregnation of the component’s windings offers additional benefits. By preventing FOD and moisture ingress, and reducing the risk of vibration faults, the insulation can add significant extra life to the product.

potting

Potting, a form of impregnation with resin, not only offers similar benefits but also provides physical protection and improves thermal conductivity. The product can be formed into a shape making it easy to fix to a base or other parts.

encapsulation

Encapsulation allows a component, or group of components to be made into a resin-bound item or sub-assembly of any shape, providing maximum protection from vibration, heat and dirt ingress.

Wiring

Wiring bespoke components requires time and patience but at Rotastat we’ve invested into equipment which, when coupled with our expertise, can guarantee a perfect result.

Soldering

Rotastat offers a soldering service to compliment our core work. Professional workmanship ensures clean joints which will outlast the component’s service life expectancy.

FINISHING

Rotastat can offer hand finishing after machining. Manual inspection of every component ensures that the finished product will be technically perfect ready for testing.

powder coating

Fluidised Bed or Electrostatic Spray powder coating offers a particularly good insulated finish which is hard wearing – excellent for environments where high temperatures are encountered.

design & consultancy

Whilst Rotastat does not design components, the company can act as a consultancy between the client and designer to ensure that the requirement of the product is met in the most reliable and cost-effective way.
